claude & becky came to visit last night...
(and saw RL's tat for the 1st time)
morphine russell (this is his talkative, giggly alter ego that comes out at night...because he only has pain at night) INSISTED that i lay down with him--but the hospital bed is entirely too small.
today's little perks... 
his leg looks tremendously better & he's healing up well! "but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control." galations 5:22

I was wondering if he was home or not. We are still praying!
OK, call me stupid (I'm not the doc!) :) ...but did the infection just spread so much that it takes a while to get rid of? I can't imagine the pain...ouch!

Wow, just got caught up on your blog! Poor Russell. That "candy cane" stripe is amazing. Never seen anything like it! Good thing he's married to one of the top doctors in town!
We hope he is feeling better. I know how frustrating that whole hospital thing must be, but at least he has someone there that knows the system and keep him in line - :)
We are still praying for a speedy recovery.
